Reusable Templates

Reusable Hardy Frame® Templates (RHFT) are fabricated from 14 gage galvanized steel, and like the single use (HFT) Templates, they provide a means of proper spacing and alignment of embed bolts. In addition to locating embed bolts, Reusable Templates have an elevated top surface, which maintains a bolt height above finish concrete that allows for a 2x sill plate to be placed under the Panel or Brace Frame. At exterior walls, RHFT Templates have provisions for nailing into the top edge of the perimeter form board. For 2x6 or deeper walls, the RHFT Template will automatically align the Panel or Brace Frame to the exterior face of the wall, unless the Template attachment is modified. At interior walls, the RHFT Template can be inverted and attached to a 2x member, which is then located by using stakes.
