Template Kits

Hardy Frame® Template Kits (HFTK) include (1) single use Template (HFT), (2) all thread hold down bolts (with 1-plate washer and 2-nuts on the embed end of each bolt), the appropriate number of shear bolts, and all washers and nuts for connecting the Panel or Brace Frame at slab installations. Template Kits for Panels also include (1) Hardy Frame® Bolt Brace for attachment to the embed end of the hold down bolts. For installations at raised foundations, the Template Kit may not be appropriate. Because there is (typically) a floor system between the concrete or block and the bottom of the Panel or Frame, the all thread hold down may not be long enough to extend through the floor system. Also the shear bolts, which are included in the Kit, are not needed for connecting to the Panel or Brace Frame because the shear transfer is accomplished by screwing the base of the product into the rim member below.
