Templates for CMU

Hardy Frame® Templates for installations on Concrete Masonry Unit (HFT-CMU) are designed for installing Hardy Frame® Panels and Brace Frames flush to the inside face of a 2x6 wall being framed on 8" CMU block. The HFT-CMU is a sheet metal product that is placed on top of a CMU wall. The hole pattern is lined to be 3-¾" from the outside face of the wall to the bolt centerline. The purpose is to locate the embeds away from the wall of the block, to provide clearance for mortar to surround the bolt. In addition to the holes provided for locating embed bolts there are large cutouts provided to allow mortar to be poured through the Template.
