The Hardy Frame®

Hardy Frames, Inc. manufactures light gage steel Panels and Brace Frames that are installed flush into wall framing for the purpose of resisting shear and wind loads.  The products are structural elements that are located strategically for the intended purpose.  The Panels and Brace Frames were initially designed and developed by Gary L. Hardy, who drew on his experience as a former “CB” (Construction Battalion) as well as many years in the Framing business.  The company was purchased in 2001 by MiTek Industries, who is a international leader in the connector product industry, manufacturer of open web floor trusses, and who also designs engineering software.
